Snow? What snow?

Are the trucks your wind blockers?

You guys got like, what, 2 inches?

That's cute.

Side note...I've got a moose that wont quit licking my truck...any suggestions?

The mass pandemonium of snow falling in Vancouver is what makes it fun! Every school kid looking out the window at the first snow and losing their mind, every driver locking the brakes and panic sliding 1000m till they hit something ๐Ÿ˜†

The contrast to the reaction of people from properly snowy places who give 0 fucks is fun to watch too.

I remember coming down 29th after a proper dump on the public bus, fish tailing the whole way everyone screaming, meanwhile driver looked like he was stifling a yawn ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Not that there is much work when it is like this, but Iโ€™m not taking the company truck anywhere until they put snow tires on it.

Anyone else remember this much snow never being a problem let alone declared a snow day?ย  I walked to a grade 7 class when it was past knee deep. Freaking millennial helicopter parents and their weak offspring.

I'm being a snow angel for my neighbors since one had a stroke so I've shoveled our walks, steps and road so they can get the walker to the car probably 5x since Sunday night.ย

Just @ 1010tires in Richmond getting the performance winters on as the all seasons were ok but had a few inadvertent donuts last night.ย  Can't be doing that unexpectedly now.

The stuck BMW and other cars without adequate winter tires trying to summit Mtn Hwy show last night was pretty entertaining.

Grab onto my Subaru bumper, I will pull you to freedom!

I only ask because I camped in a similar location once.ย  The view was great and we had a million stars above us but it howled that night and we did not prepare as you did.

I always carry ear plugs, and expect wind when camping up there.

just around the corner and down by the tree line there it was pretty blustery.. but we were in a sweet sheltered spot.

different story had it been a westerly.
