^Oh, it's a coil over style, a strut. Adjustable height, but really, it's a design feature. The 'hard parts' are adjustable, where the coil base sits….A shock is still a shock tho, it doesn't hold up anything.
You would get two features with one part. Height adj and a performance shock.

Ive never known what a lifted dually is for - towing massive boats and a load of aggregate up (really freaking wide) jeep trails or just looking like a total badass/dumbass?

Edit: I also don't get this style of tire. I assume you can't air them down much or you'd destroy your fancy rims soooo why low-pro and off-road tread together?

That lifted F-550 is obviously so your truck nutz don't drag on the dirt road.

Like this.

And low profile off-road tires are great for inclines like this one!

I didn't care about this artical until I read the last paragraph.
The global Ranger is coming back to North AM, and will likely share a chassis with the Bronco reboot.

Old thread… but what are NBR's thoughts on the ZR2 we should see next year? Capable 4x4 and a 4cly diesel. Is anyone else stoked by the prospect of this unicorn for the North American market?

A small diesel truck sounds sexy as hell but sales figures have proven that nobody in america really wants to buy a small hilux or ranger sized truck … they want midsize or f-150

So besides the fact a car company will spend a billion $ to find out they didn't make any $ for their shareholders

run the figures and see if a small diesel doesn't end up costing you mo money?

Even for the Colorado where the Diesel is available, the cheapest model that allows you to include the Diesel is just above $35,000. Add a few goodies and you're close to 40K + tax. That's a chunk of money for a small(ish) truck.

By the same definition, so is the $50,000 Tacoma. Still not a reasonable purchase for somebody who needs a working truck. There are cheaper options that make more business sense.

Vanity-wise, ZR2 Diesel nomnomnom (unless you want bed space, in which case you're SOL because BIG small TRUCK, BIG spare TIRE)

^Will that actually come to market in that form though? DuraTracs/Kings/Winch or will a dumbed down version be sold? Probably will be priced around $55,000 CDN for it. Surprised a 5.2L V8 option isn't available…
