I remember few months back Rich Franklin fought Ken Shamrock.
weight wise:
Franklin/Silva are in same class.

and b/c Shamrock and Franklin fought
Franklin/Silva/Shamrock must be in same class.

Shamrock fought Ortiz for title therefore
Franklin/Silva/Shamrock/Ortiz must be in same class

Ortiz fought Liddel, there..
Franklin/Silva/Shamrock/Ortiz/Liddel must be in same class

Will Silva/Liddel ever fight?

Contract problems with the UFC and Silva have ended that fight for now…I would love to see it to…Cro Crop who UFC just signed kicked the crap out of Silva in their second fight…he'd have to drop down to 205 to fight chuck though…UFC will be awesome in 2007….

i think he is talking about anderson silva who is a middleweight and chuck is a light heavyweight. franklin fought shamrock before he dropped down to 185 and was still fighting at 205. i doubt that they would have these two guys fight each other any time soon though, its not like one of them called the other one out or the fans have been begging to see it. it might be a good fight if it were to happen. a guy like anderson silva probably has the best shot of beating chuck, but i think he is too small to do it.

Nope, not a chance. Only competetive fight might be the newly aquired Heath Herring, and even then in the first fight Heath got owned pretty bad. Sylvia stands no chance, unless he stuffs his gloves with iron and knocks Mirko out.

And as to the original question, Liddell expreessed interest in fighting at heavyweight, so if anything that would be Liddels next goal. On that same note, Goldberg sure made a point of saying that Mirko is capable of dropping to 205… Lots of interesting things for the MMA fans in 07.

orloski might be able to beat cro cop. And as much as i hate him tim silvia might have a slim chance just because he is so damn big and cro cops main weapon might not reach that high. But in all honesty i think cro cop will destroy everyone.

tim is too slow to match with mirko, and he has a liddelesque sprawl now, until fedor moves to the ufc he wil be the champ
