Any ideas on where I might be able to get a set screw from? Looking for an alternative to Acklands thats all.

Depending on the size, BORG (home depot) or another hardware store may have them as well, but less likely than one of the fastener specialty places.

most of the set screws i have had to find ( for door handles and towel racks ect) can be found at home depot or rona.

Unless you need , or want to make a statement about Big Box stores …. go there
