I've only dabbled in the bourbons, but the basic Maker's is a bottle that I keep around for when I'm in the mood. I'm also on the lookout for a bottle of the Maker's 46, which is the same only more aging, mellower.
A friend who is into bourbons has recommended that I look out for a bottle of the Woodford Reserve Distiller's Select. Haven't tried it, but def on my radar.
+ 1 on the Woodford, it’s become my bourbon of choice. Not too sweet (Makers) or too “scotchy” (Buffalo Trace). Not expensive for a sipper. I have a bottle of Elija Craig that seems nice so far too.
I like Makers for Kentucky Mules, in coffee and as something drinkable that any bar or restaurant has on hand
The $100+/ bottle world is pretty fantastic but I’m making a point of not getting into that realm. I’ll just drink my friends fancy stuff thanks.
Makers 46 is avail all over the place, and is really tasty. Eagle Rare is good in a similar price range. Bourbon Guild picked:

Balvenie has nice offerings. I'm a fan of most 2+ casking processes. Another interesting one for the non peat fans is the Dalmore 15 or Cigar Malt. As nice as the Dalmore18 was, I dont think I fully appreciated it.
One random note for the bourbons was Larceny. They also have a good site with some drinks for you guys to check out.
