Saw this on FB but it was to good not to share:
rusty bimmer
You bet switch.
The old a bodies were just over 3000lbs before options, while the b-bodies like the Impala were the big boys who could break 4000lbs with the big motor option. That's the other thing, is that machining capabilities were not what they are now. Talking to my dad who was a 70's drag racer, he would kill to be able to bolt in a 12 second motor. Back in the day, low 13's would own on the street, while 11's were unheard of without running 4.5:1 rear end ratios and slicks. And they fit in the old cars.
Yup, they sure do fit well..
This is in my dad's backyard…
The guy that built this has totally missed the point:
not rusty.

Be great for mashing curbs head on!
long time ago my dad bought two of those 'cause he thought they would be great for him and mom to boot around on .
mom crashed hers in the first twenty minutes of riding , so that kind of killed his plan , but it did leave the other one unused . naturally i couldn't stand to see it just sitting there so i made good use of it , exploring terrain around whistler which would later become prime mountain bike trails .
