If the 11th digit in your VIN is an "H" your car was made in the Alliston plant.

I worked there during university as a summer student in final assembly from 1997-1999, then again from 2002 to 2006 as a buyer in purchasing. Learned a hell of a lot about manufacturing. The buyer job was great, I quit that job to move to Vancouver. I'd be there for life if I never decided to move. Amazing company to work for.

Sweet! 1st digit 2, 11th digit H, Honda Canada Mfg, 07/97. Shirk may have installed my rear seat among other things!

i'ts a continual process of shedding all superfluous weight.

Is the leaking exhaust part of the weight reduction?

random - some seriously tight fitment. assuming this is bagged (though it's bonkers what some guys are running static). warming up to the aesthetic…

If the rim is not, to the naked eye, straight up[HTML_REMOVED]down at the vehicles rolling ride height….thumbs down

Awesome Element!
They're such great vehicles.

I built those when I worked on the line at Honda during university. Zone 17 Final assembly. I can bolt in the rear seats in like 7 seconds flat.

I just took those seats out so I could get to the eBrake cables on my EK.
Can anyone tell me what I've been working on here?

So cool, I'm going to have to check mine out.
Here's my latest project, it's a 96' CX civic. I bought it for $500 from a family friend who needed to get it out of her driveway. The engine and trans are toast, so it's the perfect candidate for what I want to do.

Starting with this.

To answer the question of what I'm doing above, this is a 97' Integra type R 5 lug conversion. It adds 11.2" rear and 12.1" front brakes, along with a 10mm wider stance.

These should finish it off nicely.

^same suspension bits as the eg civic (92-95). the cross-platform parts sharing (w/ integras as well) makes civics great modding platforms. simple bolt in motor swaps, etc. buying a clapped out base model shell like you've done is a kickass route to a sweet bang for the buck build. light, great handling chassis. what motor you using?

those rota wheels?

keep us updated w/ the build.

You bet man! I used to have an eg civic back in 99'
It was one of the first b16 swaps and is to bad I had to sell it back in the day. Shortly after I bought a GSR and added a Jackson supercharger.

Fast forward to now and I'm building this EK. I'd like to run a b18c5 ITR engine, but if a K series comes up, it would be a great choice. Whatever I go with, it will probably end up naturally aspirated with ITB's.

The wheels are Gram Lite 57f. Forged, aggressive off set, and pretty light, they should fit really nice on there.

I'll definitely keep you guys updated.
