There was a recent study published by some nerds at Oxford recently showing how disinformation by sovereign actors are affecting local decision making.

I hesitated to bring it up, because the most condensed versions I've come across were 30+ pages (with charts!).

Recently someone shoved a Canada Yellow Vest thing in my face and just like Alice I jumped in. At the very least, I'd ask you honestly correlate the two attached images.

Both left and right, the political parties you vote for are only there for their own self-interest. It's up to us worker-bees to make this right.

Step up and start looking out for other Canadians.

Yes.  But not the IRA you were thinking of.  RTFA.

This is only going to get worse as our podunk country inches closer to election time.

It's up to you to tell all your monkey friends to shut the fuck up and stop listening to a Russian intelligence agency and love your fucking neighbour.

(Jesus up on the Mount, look it up you fucking heathen)

I recently came to the conclusion that the benefits of Facebook aren't worth the costs. It used to be fun when it was all content that my friends had generated, then it turned into just another place for people to advertise to me, attempt to manipulate my opinion and gather my information. I killed my account. Seems that in light of all the leaks and manipulation "scandals" of the last couple years if one still thinks that they're getting good information on Facebook than they're likely a fool.

For those of you that prefer listening to reading, here is a link to a podcast with Renée DiResta, the women behind a lot of this research.

We are just getting started.  Social media is the battlefield for our minds.  The Russians are the first, and maybe the best so far, but every powerful group with a global agenda and money is getting on board.  I am definitely not wasting my time over at Woke Blacks anymore.

Russia gets caught doing what the US does, and what China does better.
