Your train wreck of thought is absolutely comical at times.  

But to answer your question all one has to do is take a look around to see that most nations can’t act in their own best interests  these days no matter their ethnicity. If you look back in history some cultures were capable of it, Coast Salish people come to mind as one. However, once a culture has become poisoned by technological advancement and a surplus of goods things tend to fall to shit. 

All it takes is one person who likes the idea of abundance to throw a wrench into the works.

So you agree capitalism is the root of all evil. Good. We're making progress.

I doubt that he agrees to that at all.  And your assertion reflects the position that there is a complete lack of any nuance - that capitalism is monolithic and inflexible.  Well-regulated capitalism with truly progressive taxation and strong social supports and safety nets is pretty close to ideal, while the kind of Ayn Randian capitalism espoused by the libertarians and neoliberals is truly awful, and nothing other than the glorification of narcissism.

You need to be way more nuanced in your opinions vs the all or none stances you typically take. And FYI, economic, political and social systems aren't the root of all evil, that's people (men typically) who are power hungry and they exist across all domains.
