Is anyone else following the action? Great games thus far! The camera angles are superb, there have been some upsets already and it is just getting started. I'm addicted.

It's been really good. Watched the England game yesterday and the South Africa - Japan game today. Quite an upset!

Japan!

Well done guys

As always, loving the wide open play of the French

Unfortunately our guys will be the joke of the tourney, Canada is far from being the best of the rest like we once were 20 yrs ago

Watching makes me want to play again badly….. But then there's mtn bikes

That Japan game had me sitting on the edge of my seat, rooting for those guys. That was an awesome match. France and Italy wasn't that good in my eyes, both teams looking loose.

Rugby Canada is a joke - no money for the sport. We do have a lot of players that play professional league around the world but together they can't put it together as a team. Cudmore taking that yellow card was stupid - his father is my doctor so I am going to make sure to mention that to him next visit.

Japan game was very good. Apparently something like 43 point underdogs to win that one.

Anywhere showing the games in Squamish? The time difference makes it tricky, but would be good to watch some of the big matches over a few beers somewhere with some atmosphere.

I'm sure you could get the Gull to put the games on - and they open early

Canada might actually do ok if we dropped the politically correct all inclusive approach to team selection.

We should at the very least be able to field a team to beat the Irish (population 5 million)

That would be like saying the UK could put together a better hockey team than us.

It would be if they actually played ice hockey there. I'm pretty sure men's field hockey is multiple times more popular there than ice hockey in Britain.

Hard to believe Great Britain won Olympic gold in men's ice hockey in 1936.

Japan beating South Africa in rugby may be akin to Norway beating us at hockey.

Yeah, that was the initial reference. They play hockey like we play rugby. Hence the reason each country has their own team - England, Wales, and Scotland.

Anyways, up early to watch Wales vs Urugauy. I think I know how this one will end.

Just watched the Japan game last night (had it on the PVR). Having all this on TSN is brilliant, I haven't watched this much rugby in years. My wife seems to disagree.
