So the wife and I have finally broken down and gotten cell phones.

We signed up for the family share plan on rogers.

We got our telus home phone ported to her phone but they said it would take few days so the gave her a temp##.

Now today (3days later) our home phone doesnt work and her cell phone works on her temp ## but texting doesnt work.

Has anyone dones this b4? Is this normal??

The number switch between landline companies is done with little downtime.

Phone support up and ask them about the texting and the number. If you're impatient, just tell them you'll cancel the switch if they don't get it working asap.
