It is easy to dodge our responsibilities, but we cannot dodge the consequences of dodging our responsibilities.

I think theres a big difference between a politician admitting (or not admitting) to having tried smoking pot in their past and a politician smoking crack while in office.

Yes. Trying marijuana is like eating broccoli in comparison. damien's point of view is kind of scary to me. Although I agree that we'd probably find a lot of new dirt on Bush. But I'm not defending him.

And if that wasn't all enough already, he hates cyclists …!

Hmmm, I've known that and despised the guy since he first tried to kill the bike lanes in Toronto (which was years ago).

Him and Don Cherry must of got hammered one night and beefed about dealing with the cyclists in the city.
Why else would Cherry go on (about the pinko cyclists) at RoFo's inauguration ?

edit: Doug Ford is currently trying to kill the streetcars that run through the downtown core.

The only people who hate the streetcars are those driving vehicles through the core. To those who use it (and they get pretty stuffed these days) its a saving grace.

we probably all know some fairly benign characters we could buy a little weed from, but RF is/was involved with the whole next level of badness, RF is involed in some criminal shit with scary criminals one of whom is dead

and not dead yet.

When many people suffer from a delusion, it is called religion.

He's not far off. Just a few more crack binges in a drunken stooper should do it.

One hopes he did not drive himself. The way he was chewing his words indicates a very high level of intoxication.

I feel bad for his family.

He is fantastic.
Even made the UK papers again. Thanks Canada, I do so love to read about Mr Ford.
We once had a politician who demonstrated a similar level of responsibility. His name was Tony Blair. I wish he just smoked a bit of crack instead of sending us to war twice and nearly bankrupting the country.

Talked with a couple of Jamicans I know…..not offended by his imitation of Jamaican Patois. Laughed at it.

Leave it to a bunch of white people to tell the Jamaican Canadians they must be offended.
