So have I finally been cut off or has there really been no posts for a week here?

I think people are too busy in this decent stretch of nice weather we are having. That together with the folks who left after the site revamp adds up to less posting.

I've noticed that traffic on the forum as a whole has been dying out for a while... and especially after the latest update to the format

My absence is a combination of being really busy and the fact that there is not much here lately.  I just thought to myself this afternoon "Hey, I haven't been on NSMB for a while, I wonder if it is still alive."  Then I check the posts on NBR and the top one is RIP NBR!  LOL.  I don't frequent the rest of the forum much, has that taken a hit too?

The switchover was painful so I guess a lot of people just thought, Eff it.

In other news, I did get a new bike and started on the long road to not being a flabby middle-aged non-riding fool, so that is another reason not to be on NBR I guess.

I don't know, there may be less post quantity but the quality is higher.
NBR had become a cesspool for the most part. I'm not sad to see it get flushed.

Have not been online properly for quite some time. I am glad that the quality has gone up and the xenophobic content gone down the drain. Which is nice.

Personally, I really enjoy trying to ride as much as possible at the moment. Only seven weeks of Sabbatical left. And given the rather good weather in Europe at the moment I ride a lot and enjoy all of it. All ride. Be it road, park or just cruising through the woods for fun.

Greetings from a sleepy town with fun trails in Austria, Sölden.

Serious life stuff sucks.  Next time you're in Whistler we can have a dram of Islay and ride bikes (as long as I don't have to pedal).
