Uh, so what would you call it then? Two, but not multiple?
Lets face it, the difference between a Mac and Windows is negligible (ooh, they
put the close/minimize/maximize buttons on the left/right….whoopidy doo).
Sorry, as far as functionality for the daily user, there is no difference. Word for
Mac works the same as word for pc, excel for mac works the same too, PS works
the same, ftp programs work the same. I have yet to find anything that is very
different (In any real way).
The only difference I've found is that the Mac is more stable. Even that is marginally
better for me.
Is a Mac faster? Maybe….but not if you're using the average word/excel programs
and even PS is the same. I don't do video so maybe there's a difference there?
What I was getting at is "knowing" a Mac is the same as "knowing" a PC, even
my 70 y/o mum-in-law can use both….she finds her macbook pro to be "prettier"
than her pc. Hell, even Linux isn't much different (and my mum-in-law has a
Linux box too).
