ok, so what i don't understand, is how you could "accidentally" hsift from 5th into 2nd?? my gearbox won't even let me pull into 2nd when i'm in 5th, even with the clutch to the floor… :???:

I really have a hard time believing that car can pull to 7000RPM in 5th though.
He was probably cruising in 5th and just tried to gear down to 4th and missed.

back in the day, when I was working at a car lot……..we got this V8 Vega with a BAD knock in the motor…..so we fill it up with thick oil and I'm trying to drive real easy for the short trip down the hwy(only like 5km) to get it to the auction grounds…..at 80kmhr, BANG!, dead silence……pure oil slick for like 100ft right in the middle of the lane:lol:….two rods came thru the side of the pan/block:lol:

I like how they just let all the oil poor all over the ground. It woulda been a lot less of a mess to clean if htey got a pan or somthing.
