Uh....what?
people with dementia remember old stuff but not new stuff so they might not remember anything really new like for a WWII vet after 1951
and so who the fuck are you ?
Lest we forget.
Lest we forget.
Thinking about the inference in Tung's meme from the previous page, "all gave some".
It's easy to forget how much combat vets left out there. My Grandad was on the HMCS Haida in WWII, a ship that saw heavy combat, and for all intensive purposes he never left, he was shellshocked his entire life. Ditto for my Father, who was in hot zones in Vietnam for his entire tour. Ditto for a great many combat vets we all have in our lives.
Thank you to all of our vets, those who gave their lives and those who gave their souls alike. Lest we forget.

"The suffering, the sorrow, the glory, the shame. The killing and dying it was all done in vain. Oh Willie Mcbride it all happened again, and again and again and again and again."
Was out all day and did first Remembrance Day parade since 2019. But with that....
The greatest casualty is to be forgotten.
Remembering Michaud and McWilliam died July 1993 Base Wainwright.
Remembering a fallen Seaforth. Tulloch Ard
Lt Col Fraser CO of 1 Can Para knowing the history of what you and the men you led did it was a privilege Sir. As well as ground that was broken.
No footage from this year. But this was from the 2019 Convoy to Remembrance. Ontario Regiment Museum does possibly the largest convoy on Remembrance Day of it's kind anywhere.

Thank you Ontario Regiment Museum for what you do.
Lest we forget. I'll be heading down to the local cemetery to pay my respects & take in the ceremonies.
