Kenn,

I respect and agree with pretty much all of your opinions, it's just that your constant nit picking of grammatical errors and other little details as well as the overall tone in your posts has been getting really condescending and unfriendly.

Just lighten up a little and be more personable..
I also apologize if me calling you a douchebag has offended you I think I took it a little too far.

:)

Ha Ha! Made you look.

On topic - I like how they are back pedaling now, saying it's not RBC that is using foreign workers, it is their supplier that is doing it. However, the CEO and the same HR lady Chair a company that expedites foreign workers visas. It just gets better.

Oh I bet this story is going to be huge!

Canadians pay attention, this is our future. Out sourcing! and giving away resources to the lowest bidding multinational companies….

Remember, if you are against these types of actions, you are a pinko socialist commie and hate your country and the terrorists have won.

Did one of the mods merge two random threads?

What a train wreck you guys are this morning.

Nope, so far this thread has had zero edits from the mods.

If you are for this type of bullshit you hate your country. RBC and other companies pulling this bullshit off need to be bitch slapped hard.

Call your MP and vent your spleen on them if they are Conservatives.

Interesting how this is playing out. Let us remember there has been outsourcing services by banks for years prior to this. RBC and others outsourced jobs to foreigners for years and nothing but silence. Bet you people lost their jobs as well by banks doing that. So it is easy to see how they thought they could pull it off seeing as all other outsourcing jobs to India has received silence. Only reason they are changing the PR spin is because the reaction was not what they expected from previous actions banks have taken.

It is easy to go on claiming that this is all the Cons fault. But the reality is a lot of this happened under the Federal Liberals watch as well. And they are just as responsible for what is going on now as the Cons. And remember neither party gives a rats fuck about us and how the banks screw the people over. They only give a shit about getting re elected.

I like Kenn's posts. I like NBR because you can speak your mind and get honest opinions and even a bit of debate. I was raised in a politically incorrect household so perhaps I'm less influenced by abrasive styles. I'm in it for the substance.

BACK ON TOPIC

This kind of thing is similar to the situation where everybody complains about how a new Walmart bankrupts the local businesses, but shops there disirregardlessly, anyways.

Hopefully RBC's stock price gets spanked as this hits the news channels…

There within lies the irony - this action was done to slim costs, to give more to the shareholders, yet it is going to do exactly the opposite. I think they should slimline the Board's commission cheques - start there.

ON TOPIC: I've been a RBC customer since 1988 and seriously considering dumping their services. I'm going to give them a few days for a genuine act of contrition, but even then it'll more likely be a "we're sorry we got caught" than a true "we're sorry".

OFF TOPIC: So yeah, I honestly missed out on Zed's original reference to past union-bashing threads and rather took his post literally. Sorry if that caused you undue stress, though that one-sentence clarification would have been a nice gesture and sure would've avoided the subsequent shit-show, nein?

All others, wonderful job of cyber-bullying folks! You should be proud.

Pretty much agree fully, but I'd go one further - this little move is of no appreciable benefit to shareholders. If this increased share value by as much as one penny I'd be surprised. If you are for this type of bullshit you hate anyone that's NOT a bank executive, IMO.
