OK Either you love em or you hate em.
That said if the pumpkin beer has that green pumpkin taste im not liking it.
So far How Sound brewing makes a great Pumpkin Beer. Granville island makes a nice one too but is just has a hint of pumpkin and spice. There must be a dozen to choose from.
Any other tasty examples out there?

common sense…..Whats common about sense?!

First year Howe Sound Pumpkin Eater was good. Seems something changed.

The rest I've tasted are bleh.

I'm not a huge fan. Pumpkineater is probably the best. The P49 Lost Souls(?), whatever the stout one is, is solid too. Outside that, not something I really drink.

I love pumpkin and have tried about a dozen or so varieties. My favourite was a sample I had at the Beer expo thing in Victoria a few years ago - it was from a small Oregon brewery and tasted like pumpkin pie with whip cream. Do not remember what it was called.

Phillips brewing in Victoria. Crooked Tooth Pumpkin Ale is pretty good. They do a ginger ale that has got a pretty good kick to it too. Awesome with sushi.

+1 for the crooked tooth. Great beer with just a hint of pumpkin spice.

What's wrong with beer flavoured beer? Pumpkin does not appeal to me. Like those so called coffee beverages full of goo and flavourings. Like a melted hot Mars bar. Gimme coffee dark and black thanks. Beer too.

I really like the Lost Souls, which I find to be more chocolate than pumpkin. I had a Crookeder Tooth tonight, which was pretty good, not as boozy as I was expecting for a barrel aged beer. Preferred it to the Red Racer or Steamworks pumpkin ales.

What are you, nuts? Bubblegum-flavoured beer is hands up the best. Chipotle is a close second.
