Only his actions ruined his career and only his actions going forward can save it. Lying in your initial apology is not a good start.

For what it's worth, companies escape from seemingly impossible PR disasters all the time.

If Alex works hard, I'm sure things will work out for him. They might even improve. More people know his name now than they did before.

How long will he be out of work until he gets a settlement from ICBC for his truck? Will he loose any clients as he can't respond? Will they cover the costs of tools and supplies stolen or destroyed?

I wasn't there but have read news stories that said the truck owner was an electrician working in the Canada Post building.

Looks like a decent work truck to me. I've seen a photo that shows a company name in the back window.
