Should have added...
Bankers who lost more money than ever earned in the history of banking, received the largest bonus pool in the history of banking less than two years later, in 2010. And, suspiciously, only a few years later, Geithner received a highly paid position in the finance industry.
Not one of them ever saw the inside of a cell as well. If I was an American I would still rather have Obama in charge right now than Trump, but I get your point. I think this is showing why having progressives take over from the bottom up in the Senate and Congress is so important too though.
What are the thoughts on the stimulus in this country?

It is hard to argue with that tiny man.
Isnt that heading into Fascism? At the very least, corporate welfare is still strong. Meanwhile, I think the Americans just got sold off for $1200?
+ Public Citizen: “One section of the Senate’s stimulus plan contains language preventing companies from using bailout money to buy back their own stock or raise CEO pay. The very next section gives Steve Mnuchin the power to COMPLETELY IGNORE THE PREVIOUS SECTION. Jaw-dropping corruption.”
Capitalists, OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!

No.
Socialism is needed for our most trusted assets like healthcare and infrastructure.
Capitalism, if left to die when it fails, is perfect for everything else.

I agree. Socialize society's needs and let capitalism take care of the wants. The problem is always "The jobs!" when the big corporations start laying everyone off. It is a powerful tool for those businesses because the government takes the blame for job losses and for the corporation's decisions that lead to their failure. We need to re-tool what it means to be a corporation in this country.
