Me and 3 others going for 3 days of fun mid-June, never been before.
Aside from the obvious world-class beer/coffee drinking, what else should we do/see while there? We're staying downtown, we'll all have bikes to get around. Interested in architecture/music/food. Go!

Make sure you watch Portlandia before you go.

Going to Portland without going to ride Blackrock? Or Post Canyon? :nono: If your friends don't ride you will have people to shuttle you at Post! Still worth heading out there even if not riding, there are some cool waterfalls on the way.

Stop by Universal Cycles, they've got a pretty cool store.

For beers, Rogue and Hair of the Dog are good. Deschutes has a place too but their stuff is a little weak imo. Full Sail has a pub in Hood River which has good food. Thats about all I can help you with.

Definitely fun, but not this time as we're going for the full urban experience.

Acropolis Steakhouse.

Haha title is misleading!

Werd. We're staying at the Jupiter which I understand is close to the 'food cart district'.

Sweet!

I was wondering how long the 'Portlandia' reference would take; Kudos.

That looks dangerous, but worth looking into as we're staying at the Jupiter.

Would love to but trails will have to wait for another trip with another group.

Some great ideas, keep 'em coming.

Hmmmm, I'm thinking more along the lines of Burnside skatepark.

There's lots of drive-thru coffee shaks as you drive thru Oregon, just in case you're thirsty for a double half-caff.
