Nope.

Sony is supposed to bring out some kind of service that'll let you play older games. The games run on their servers and they just send down the video.

Don't think that's going to change but they will be offering their entire library of past games on the PSN store to download. I imagine with a membership a ton will be free to play. Lots of free games with the membership.

From what I read, PS3 games won't run on the PS4 without emulation. Different hardware - like trying to run Mac programs on a PC.

My info is that the ps4 will not play anything but ps4 games and blue ray/dvd's. It won't even play CDs at all. Since it can not read CDs you will not be able to play old ps1-3 games because it can't read them. I have tried to put in music and no dice. I imagine lots of free games with the PSN membership.

I for one am happy they didn't waste any space/resources on backwards compatibility with the new units.

The sooner they get on and finish the VR goggle prototypes teh better.

I'm not much for shoot 'em ups ( I prefer slashing at a 40lb kickbag to get my fix )
Big News for me would be 3 screens/1 console, thank you very much.

Right then, who's on BF4 / PS4 other than some dude in Tennessee listening to rap music with a crying baby in the background.
