meh good graphics alone doesnt make for a fun game

Too true.

^^I think the Steambox will be a huge seller personally. ESPECIALLY if they include 2 video outs so you can play head to head on 2 TV's rather than split screen.

^^^^WhyTF didnt they think of that before?
Question about compatibility with old and new games-if you upgrade, can you take a ps3 game and play it on a ps4 system, and more importantly play it on line with ps3 players??? Or same for 360 and xb1? any one know this quandary?

WTF, Over?

Ps4 and Xbox one are both not backwards compatible. Keep the ps3 and 360 if you still need to play those games.

"backwards compatible"
A phrase that does not exist in the Sony corporate vernacular.

Well they did it once.
The box held it's value years later on the resale market.

I've been told they sold a million PS4's already.
Fuck the cutthroat retail world of PC's/TV's/Monitors etc, they got a magic box.

This is a big plus of PC gaming for me. I don't need to dig out my old 1998 desktop to play Half Life.

well, I took my $400 for a new magic box and donated it to the United Way instead. I'll suffer with my PS3.

I wonder if the XBone browser is powered by internet explorer. That's a scary thought.

I only have 1 question, how loud is the disc drive and cooling fan?

Yes, and it doesn't have Flash.

If you're worried about the disk drive you can apparently mod your ps4 to use a SSD. You would also be saying goodbye to loading screens.

PS3 optical drive and fan are noisier than the hard drive.

Got my ps4 in the mail today. Not noisy at all. Gets a bit warm though. COD is all I have at the moment and it looks and play amazing. The controller is very good. COD uses the new lower triggers for the aiming and shooting and they are nice to use. I want to get the camera as it looks like it could be fun. So far so good. It's fast and with having to get playstation plus to play online the free games are a bonus.

Does it have any improvements to the additional apps such as the browser or Netflix or viewing photos?
