So we diverged in the Scorched Earth thread. So here is the NSMB PC gamer thread.
I just finished building a new PC earlier in the week so I could use some suggestions of what to play. I've been out of the PC world for quite some time. My video card gave me DL codes for Tomb Raider 2013 and Bio Shock Infinite (just waiting for NCIX to email me the Steam codes). Crysis 3 is on my list, but first I have to play 1, 1.5 and 2.
What else should I be looking at?
Yes that is on the list too. I loved Far Cry, have not played Far Cry 2 though.
On PC, still mostly hooked on Mechwarrior Online as I mentioned in the other thread.

1280x720 (monitor limited) at very high still doesn't look quite as good as those screen shots.

got i7 2600 OC to 4.8 on air.. 4 SSD 2 Raid 0 256gig Vectors and 2 Vertex 3's 128gig. ATI 7970. everything else is not really relevant. 8gig of ram.. 47" main display monitor 22" samsung LED monitor logitech mouse keyboard.
Mostly Black ops 2 stuff and racing.

What are you running for a GPU? Are you over riding the games settings with the cards software?
@Rossco…nice set up. I assume that's a TV as your main screen?
I fricken love(d) Far Cry and Crysis (all of them). I enjoyed the Call of Duty series as well.
Also, the Batman series are must plays as well (Arkham Asyulum etc).

2x Radeon 5780 in Crossfire. Standard game settings.
Arma 3 FPS/Milsim … the Alpha test version just came out ($35 on Steam) and I'm totally into it. Still pretty basic (its the Alpha), but there is a big community of modders and mission makers already hard at work:
Metro 2033 was great and the new one is coming out. The witcher 1 [HTML_REMOVED] 2 and they are cheap on steam.
