Where's the Israeli and South African tests?

Neither one has performed testing of a nuclear armed device. SA was going to but
was found out and pressure from the French it was stopped.

One blast in the Indian ocean was a possible nuclear detonation, but it maybe wasn't.
Some say it was the Israelis, others say it was a joint effort with the SA's .

Of course they both have them, they may not even work.

For the past 5-10 years, I doubt SA has enough spare dough to build a firecracker. Even the world cup venues wouldn't have been built w/o infusion of cash from FIFA.

All diamonds in SA are owned by deBeers. Similarly, the gold mines are privatized. The gov't of the country gets virtually nothing from their resources.

Considering that they haven't pursued nuclear weapons in 20+ years the amount of spare dough that they've had in the last 5-10 years doesn't really count for much.

Amazing that 6 pages later, a factually incorrect post - essentially a lie - can continue to generate discussion, and no one is even tweaked that the image is not what it was purported to be.

Unlike most who believed it was a rockey launcher. I figured it was more likely a multiple mortar launcher. Think more along the lines of the Nebelwerfer 42 but without the rocket assist..

I would be tweaked, but apathy is much easier.
