I like to think he has gone off grid to quietly reflect on how he may have misread Putin's intentions.

I dunno, he was pretty regular on here. I'm wondering if he got sick or something worse. A lot of people on here have some off screen connections as well, but based on conversations I don't know if anyone actually knew him IRL.
I don't know him, but I do know his username on various backcountry skiing forums, where he is still posting in their equivalents of NBR (and getting pretty much the same response as here).
