I'm just happy there was no Celine or Nickelback.

I had no problem with the athletes they chose to light the Caldron.

• The whales, poem, floor animation and general theme of the ceremony was cool.
• Brian Adams is a terrible lip-syncher.
• The National Anthem should NEVER be messed with. Hot girl with great voice shouldn't be blamed for poor programming choices.
• Conan O'Brien is a very talented singer and somewhat stole the show but may have confused many foreign viewers.
• Caldron malfunction was unfortunate as the idea to have them all light at the same time was a good one.

The good was very good and the bad was very bad with not much in the middle.
