The way the HBC appropriated the Cowichan sweater has really pissed me off.

how long would it have taken them to produce all the sweaters? I'd imagine we'd see summer Olympics in Chicago before they were done.

I like them. They're original. IMO, medals shouldn't have to explicitly represent the country in which the games are held, but implicitly represent the region. I think native art is a huge element to west coast culture and these medals represent that. In addition, they are all one of a kind pieces of art.

I say good on the designers for bending, if not breaking 'traditional' rules for meh-looking medals.

well get on it man! the internet wise-assery olympics could be very successful.

We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.
