Some may claim disinterest. I think most Canadians will still be huddled in front of the TV during the final games. I guess some of the countries with pro players now playing in Europe may have an advantage. I agree with what Don Cherry said a few years back. He said if we made up 3 teams of Canadian players & sent them to any international tournament & all 3 teams played their best, we would sweep the medals every time.

Sure, I'll watch.  While not a true "best-on-best" tournament, it's still a bunch of guys who are pretty good at hockey competing for their country.  If anything, the wild card nature of the players this time around should make it even more entertaining.

I fucking hate the IOC, but I’m kinda excited the NHLers aren’t coming.

Will watch.  Hopefully it will be a sloppy mess with tons of odd-man rushes.

The Juniors was good.  I was on the edge of my seat during the finals.  Great hockey to watch.
