Hard to tell from the pictures, but Im pretty sure that is 160,000km, not 16,000km. Not sure if the last digit of the odometer is in tenths or ones.

honda / acura has the main numbers in whole numbers, so it's 160387.
the 1/10 is the trip meter.

Thanks R. That could have worked if it didn't have leather interior.

Ha no but I emailed the lady yesterday :D

May well check it out when she's back tomorrow. The car certainly ticks the right boxes other than making me think of Coldplay every time I look at the advert.

as well as this:

A basic sort of car, you shift your own gears, roll down your own windows.

wilma should go into car sales. refreshing

i'd drop a bit more [HTML_REMOVED] go svt for a bit of added s2s fun (6spd / 170hp)

then i read the odo. perhaps not. though it has been recently refreshed…

Thanks for the offer Butler :)

Today we drove to some used dealer south of New West to see a Mazda Protege but the place seemed like a bit of a shit show. Nearly gave up up but drove through NW and spotted a couple of used dealers, and a forgotten looking 1997 Civic CX 3dr hatch in a corner for $2000 plus taxes. Paid $1500 all in with 'warranty'. Seems good. Decent steering and suspension, decent pick up once revs higher. Tidy looking. Bit gutless at low revs and the usual fun and games relearning driving a manual in a 19 year old car with some nice revving at the lights but otherwise good. Money in the bank for a tune-up.

Gutless at low revs is to be expected with 'all' its 106hp and 103 lbft of torque coming up very high in the revs. The tradeoff is the 30+ mpg you will be getting. Just make sure you dont park it anywhere, was one of the most stolen vehicles around back in the day. :(
