Mounties impound 13 supercars from rich kid street race

Mounties in Vancouver, British Columbia, impounded the 13 supercars on Wednesday following a fast and furious display on a public freeway. The cars, including an Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lamborghini and a Nissan GT-R, will be held for seven days under Canada's tough laws against reckless driving.

One thing the cars had in common: Green "N" stickers in their rear windshields, meaning their drivers were still moving through the stages of British Columbia's graduated driver's licenses and up to a year away from having an unrestricted license. Most of the drivers pictured in video below being questioned by mounties are 16 or 17 years old.

R8 with an 'N' on the back proves that we need better novice driving laws.

hahaha, suckers deserve every bit of what they have coming. I walked past this last night in White Rock. Half the cops were stoked to see the cars and the other half were super pissed about the situation.

Don't they auction the cars off now with these stiffer laws? What the hell kind of punishment is a 7 day impound?
Is it that hard to rent a track for the day out here if money is obviously not an issue?
So angry at the selfishness of some idiots we let into our country.

What are the rules when it comes to an "N"? I would assume the penalties would be greater than if they had a full drivers licence.

The ticket they received carries 6 points with ICBC. Once you get 4 points ICBC starts prohibiting you from driving. The usual prohib is 3 months.

Dads gon be mad

Dad will not give a single fuck. Really. Also not all of the cars are St georges kids. Black R8 is, so is the blue gran turismo i think. I think the 599 is mcgee, as well as the gallardo. Not too sure to be honest, thats just where I have seen them. RICH asian kids.

Saw this on the news last night. Idiots

This is exactly why I spit on the drivers side windows of any similar car with an 'N' on it. Im sure they deserve it for something or even just being that young with a car like that. Fuck them and their parents!
