The UN is easily the most useless organization in existence. The idealist views that the UN holds is completely unrealistically, totally unpractical and at best completely incompetent.

Not to mention completely bogged by a top heavy bureaucracy that's incapable of making rapid decisions when needed, and weakened considerably by the mere existence of veto power to cold-war era superpowers.

On topic: Is this the end of the EI freeride/freeski/race team?

Also: I'm worried about the direction of this country in the next election. It appears as though we're going to have a choice between a lying, manipulative, bumbling fool who likes to appear to be driven by Christian morals (not the economics degree that he probably should have failed given his policy decisions), and a man who has no idea how to engage with half of our geography - I cannot, ever, vote for Tommy M. He's far to divisive, and would be horrible for the country. Where the hell do we go from here?

Even engaging with half the country would be better then engaging Harper with all the country.

If I wanted to live in a country with American politics I'd move to fuckin America.

There was this Genocide that occurred in some place called Rawanda in 94 that demonstrated how effective the UN is.
