Seriously … how hard is it to go to the TSN website and look at the broadcast schedule??

9pm PST TSN2

Pregame at 8:30 PST on regular TSN, game starts on regular TSN at around 9 pm today. Canada generally plays 'live' on TSN, all other matches on TSN2.

The TSN website scheduling is all f*ked up. If you click on "Pacific" schedule it insists "Today" starts at 3 am and ends at 9 pm. "Tomorrow" starts at 9 pm today, Pacific time. That's what you get when you hire a bunch of dumb jocks (or wannabes) to work for you.

Wales romping on Namibia was sad to watch. There was a third of a game left and Namibia was physically done.

Could be related to the fact that games are played on the other side of the Int'l date line? Kickoff is 5pm Sept 27th in EnZed, 9pm Sept 26th in Vangroovy.

A team like Namibia really shouldn't be there … there are only about 1000 registered senior rugby union players in Namibia. The Namibian national team is about 2% of all eligible rugby players in the country. The small population base of the country (about 2 million) of whom probably under 10% are interested or play (mostly those of mixed or European descent) means a tiny pool of talent. They get in because 2 teams from Africa get to qualify, one of them being South Africa, a juggernaut International rugby. Perhaps there should be a rest-of-Africa "Team Africa All Stars" made up of eligible "African" players from outside of South Africa. If the "grandparent" rule of eligibility applied, that team would be a serious contender, given the high calibre of players of (non-South) African ancestry playing in Europe (France, the UK) and South Africa. Pritchard on the Canadian team was born in Australia to Australian parents was raised and lives in Australia - he is eligible to play for Canada because his grandfather was born in Saskatchewan.

Nope … the TSN schedule is for PST. The RWC website gives a toggle for Canadian times (based on you web browser's reported timezone), but the TSN Website assumes the day starts and ends uniformly at all points in Canada.

Good start so far. They seem pretty evenly matched.

Each team scoring in the first 10 minutes … gonna be a high scoring game at this rate!

I think Pritchard was out cold for a minute or so.

Yah, Canada not really bringing out their 'A' game. Need to be stronger on defence. Van der Meerwe is an animal though!
