Vettel should sincerely thank Adrian Newey for giving him a top car for all these years. If Alonso was in that car, he'd win almost every race. Alonso clearly the top driver right now by far. The commentators even said it; once Fernando gets behind you, you just have a feeling that he's gonna get by no matter what. Cheeky bit of sass from Lewis telling his crew chief to "Just let me drive!" I used to like the old days when engines would all of a sudden blow-up. It added some drama [HTML_REMOVED] suspense to things.

RIP to race marshal Mark Robinson killed at the Canadian GP doing what he loved. Without these vollies, the races wouldn't happen. Glad to see Vettel sign with Red Bull until 2015. I was against him potentially going to Ferrari.

What happened? I watched the last third of the race and didn't see or hear anything.

Essentially it was a workplace incident. Long after the race was over, he fell and a crane rolled over his head :(

Something like this; They were moving a car with a tractor with Robinson walking alongside. He dropped his radio [HTML_REMOVED] when he stopped to pick it up, got driven over. Poor bastard.

Well, Webber is finally leaving Red Bull. I think they're not too sad to see him go. A good team player [HTML_REMOVED] always a classy guy, but IMO should have gotten more out of a car that was often the best in the field. I'd like to see a young guy like Di Resta or Hulkenberg replace him.

RIP that Danish dude in the Aston Martin at Lemans last weekend. I know this is an F1 thread but I think we can all appreciate Lemans too, no?

Anyway, it was a heavy crash and the guy died doing what he loved.

Wrong. Always.

RIP that Danish dude in the Aston Martin at Lemans last weekend. I know this is an F1 thread but I think we can all appreciate Lemans too, no?

Anyway, it was a heavy crash and the guy died doing what he loved.

The weird thing is the crash didn't look bad at all. Apparently there was a tree right behind the Armco where he hit.

This is an F1 thread. If you wanna talk Lemans then start a different thread. (Ya, that crash didn't look too bad)

What a race! Best one of the year so far. Good that Vettel dropped out due to a mechanical. It gets Kimi [HTML_REMOVED] Fernando closer to him in points. Pirelli better figure out what's happening to their tires. Driver of the day has to be Hamilton.

Regardless of the circumstances, Keke's son Nico has another win this year. Pretty impressive.

The tire situation is a joke.
If Pirelli doesn't do something about it soon, we might even see a boycott, like a few years ago for the US GP.

I'm also glad to see Alonso getting closer, but not really hopeful, as Ferrari's pace is just not there.

Alonso looked sooo tired after that race. I think he's frustrated at Ferrari's pace right now.

I'm glad Princess Hamilton didn't make the podium.

Wrong. Always.
