Really poor job of crowd control. Worse is nothing is being done, and nothing will probably be done. Probably a fine or community service.

And now the mayor is on, spewing crap. Small group of troublemakers? The police can't handle a small group?

A few blocks from the main confrontation, a line of 10 riot police was trying to hold back a crowd of several thousand at the corner of Homer and Robson streets. The crowd pelted the officers with bottles and firecrackers.

You got to feel sorry for those 10 guys.

"This is madness!!!"

"This is VANCOUVER!"

Well, well I been movin' down to Florida.
And I'm gonna bowl me a perfect game.
Well I'm gonna cut off my leg down in Florida, child.
And I'm gonna dance one-legged off in the rain.

It's becoming more and more what I dreaded. That being the cops being overwhelmed. They are because they don't have enough on site.

The VPD leadership has learned nothing from 94.

The riot squad is moving in now. Impeccable timing.

Kessler can keep his chin up - the man played hard every game.

It would have been interesting to see what would have been if the Canucks had Hamhuis, Rome, Raymond, Samuelsson, etc.

that was hard to watch, Kesler is the only one that showed a glimpse of not leaving anything left in the tank, it's too bad he was alone.

Boston is a great team, I don't think the Canucks should be too upset.

I do feel bad for Kesler, he and burrows were the only two who consistently looked hungry for it.

Congrats on a great season 'nucks. too bad your "fans" aren't as classy as your team is.

i'm a has been, trying to be a never was on the comeback trail.

The fans at the arena showed a lot of class; they did us proud.

Then the cameras went outside… :(

http://www.theprovince.com/sports/Canucks+played+despite+brutal+injuries/4954145/story.html

Edler - two broken fingers [HTML_REMOVED] irritated his recent back surgery
Erhoff - shoulder
Higgins - foot
Dan Hamhuis - torn groin muscle
Kesler - groin and torn hip labrum (those fricken hurt)

I'm sure a lot more injuries will show in the next few days…

We played hard, but Boston clearly looked like they wanted it more. That was a disastrous game 7 effort put forth by the 'Nucks.
