Obscure North Shore Hiking Trails

I heard about a tape trail from Seymour dam to Cypress. From looking at the map it looks like it would be pretty tough going, but I suppose it's possible.

Can anyone suggest other obscure North Shore hiking trails to try?

We did the Fool's Gold Route once. 9 days, Squamish to Port Coquitlam, no trail. Brutal.

Nope sorry. Pictures were taken on film. Must be at least 15 years ago. However, I did make a map:

Gnarly. Ive heard of more dead/missing people out there than ones whove made it out alive.

Theres a loop over the needles that few people do. Up to lynn peak, along the ridge, down the coliseum trail to lynn creek.

?

Not sure what or where you are referring to. End of Quarry rd. maybe?

Anyways, we did find an outdoor grow op, with hundreds of baby seedlings just getting started.

You mean the secret evil compound.

Has anyone done that route from the second peak of Seymour to Vicar Lakes? I am considering that as part of an Elsay Lake loop…

That's hard core. I have always 'wanted' to do that route, then I do some research and decide otherwise.

Not North Shore, but, there is a great trail from Princess Louisa Inlet over Sun Peak and down to the Sims Valley, north west of Squamish.

One way to discover random places is to look for pictures in Google Earth that are random or seem misplaced. You can see someone's route from Seymour Dam to Vicar Lakes that way. There are also a few pictures in the Capilano watershed that show some routes.

I think those are caches for SAR supplies. Not 100% on that though.

That's what 'they' would have you believe.
