Daniel Sedin gets a hat trick and only 1 hat gets thrown on the ice? Fail. Are the fans off the bandwagon?

The average hat costs $25-$30 or more, I can see why people don't want to throw them just because some guy making $7M/year has a good night.

Maybe everyone had toques on?

Maybe they should call it a toque-trick then?

And your able to collect them after the game. Just because they get swept into a garbage bin doesn't mean they're thrown away.

Ya but a toqie doesn't quite sound the same as a hattie.

Ball caps don't go with business attire, that is if the people even noticed the hat trick. I was 10th row at a Blackhawks game once and the 2 suits beside me left part way through the first and spent the game in the Rogers Arena bar to continue talking about whatever.

Q: What do you have in common with the Vancouver Canucks?

A: You will both be watching the Stanley Cup Finals on television.

Half a season gone, and not looking good for a Canucks post season appearance. The once-upon-a-time tough Pacific Division has become a sea of mediocrity. And the Kings.

Post season? They are tanking for Matthews

The good news is after a puck to Daniel's teeth, we can now tell the twins apart if they smile

Does the Shinkaruk for Granlund move make much sense? The Canucks never (seem to) let their draft picks develop and play at the NHL level.

The best explanation I've read is that Granlund is basically Shinkaruk, but fast forwarded a couple years when he knows how to play defence, and a bit bigger, which has apparently been a concern in Utica, despite him going at almost a point per game pace.
