Sucks to hear about your car issues shogun. I was thinking about this thread when I heard an ad for Freeway Mazda on the radio today touting their top notch customer service and had to laugh a little bit. Did you try squaring things with the service manager or were to just happy to gtfot?
NSMB Automotive Thread ( Q&A, Car Porn, etc)
Any Subaru people here? Bought an '08 2.5i auto 5dr Impreza in July for cheap. Had a bunch of issues right away, all pretty simple. Just rolled 160km, the head gaskets are visually OK, didn't use any oil over a 5000km interval so I think it's good for awhile.
I can see why people put up with the quirks though, I like the thing.
^GF is a Subaru fan. She's now onto her second Impreza wagon. Think she had an Outback wagon before. Parents had a Legacy.
Her '04 Impreza wagon is at the point where it needs a bunch of work done. She picked up a new '19 Impreza wagon two weeks ago. I was almost able to convince her to get a M3 AWD...
Anyway, have an '04 Impreza Outback Sport Wagon looking to unload for cheap. Stock rims on WRG3s or HakR2s on steels or a set of Contis with 100km on them. All 16" size tyres.

Ha, the '08 is actually my GF's car as well. Those new ones look decent.

Damn.. so close eh?
Any real world experience with late 90s/early 2000s Dodge Ram 2500 5.9L Cummins Diesel trucks?
Thinking about purchasing one; Adam West says no. Go with the 1/2 ton gasser
I’ve outgrown my 1/4-1/3 ton vehicle.
This would be a secondary/tertiary vehicle. Mainly for recreational and (around the house) work purposes.
Unsure if I have the stomache to take another new vehicle into the woods.
solid trucks as far as I've seen. A couple operators I know still use them to haul their back hoes around. Too loud and smelly for me.

Unsure of the block orientation in that but my friend has an '05 Ram2500 with 130,000km and needed a new block since with the big straight six, the #6 cylinder doesnt get the cooling it needs as its at the firewall and will fail in some way. He didnt even chip or mod it yet.
Because GT500

Which would you choose besides "limited"?

^None.
It’s a hybrid. The cable actuated disc brakes of the electric vehicle.

03 is when the Ram switched to the new/current body style.
I was hoping to get a 92 12v Cummins on the cheap but the guy knows what he has and priced accordingly.
I’ve found a few 5.9L but they appear to be the dreaded #53 engine block. Unsure if I want to bite at the price people are asking for them. But the failure should’ve happened by now if it was going to happen
The Cummins is great if you want/need a shitkicker powerful engine, but based on the prices I see them available for they’re a pretty poor value when put up against a big gas v-8.
My $6000 ‘99 with the gas 360 would be $18,000+ truck if it had a Cummins and similar mileage, condition and equipment. If you can find one. It gets fairly poor mileage, but $12,000 buys a lot of fuel even at $1.48/l.
Bit of a blog post but finally empty a catch can and see I have a coolant leak and a big old hole in the rad. Bright side is the bumper has to come off to replace the rad so time to order a fmic. Not sure what kind of logic that is to save time but spend more.. zoom zoom lol?
