The absolute best part of about "Coal Rollers" is how they believe that black smoke shows power when it really just shows incomplete combustion of diesel fuel. But I'm sure the "Coal Rollers" knew that ;)

Why slag free swag?

Would love to know too!

I have found info on the icbc auction thing
https://onlinebusiness.icbc.com/salvage/html/Register.html

I don't think my landlord is going to let me turn the yard into a junkyard or a bodyshop so I am going to keep on looking.

I have found a sweet deal on a motor on the mainland so hopefully I can make it over there before its gone.

I'm the best at being modest !

I wonder if the extra uncombusted diesel hurts the engine? EGR/valves? Sheets will say?

Can't be good for emissions components.

Or our intakes… As in the lungs and what not. I've been rolled a few times after reading the articles.

It's funny how Gail Banks himself thinks "rolling coal" is dumb.

What do you guys think - I'm torn between buying the new turbo and all associated intake, catch can, egr delete plugs goodies or do I go with the opposite of the go fast bits and order the stop fast big brake kit? They are teh sex imo.

The planned turbo kit is a budget killer, specially with the current CAD but an eventuality in itself as I was idling recently with a big white cloud behind me. The turbo and 3.5 bar map is $1740 after exchange, from $1190 USD where the brakes are $1167 CAD. Then I'd still need the AP and a tune, which would be another grand or so.. sigh.

I realize ones a want and the other is a soon to be need so I know which path I should follow..

Springs, shocks, and really thick sway bars ftw.

Turbo kit.

Are you missing a zero or two cuz I'm confused. The three words of Carbon Brembo and $50 are pretty mutually exclusive if I'm not mistaken.
