Watching his press release today, proved that he needs to learn how to talk loudly and angrily.

I thought he was going to cry for Burke. Naslund was looking pretty disinterested being there as well.

Hmm, lets see. He just lost in the playoffs, he needs surgery on his elbow before he can play again, and there proabably isn't going to be a paycheck next year because of the lockout/strike

I would be depressed too.

If theres a lockout/strike next year (ya, right, like pro sports athletes aren't making enough $$ already….!) Naslund will return to Sveden and play hockey there instead. 2005/06 season he no longer has a contract or any obligations to the nuckers…. and he wants to raise his kids there, so we'll probably never see him again… especially if his buddy Forsberg does the same thing (Forsberg has already said that he intends to return to Sweden to finish his career).

Nonis is a very smart guy, and has been the one responsible for negotiating all player comtracts while working with Burkie - I think he'll do a great job. I really liked Brian both personally and professionally, but Dave is a good replacement - nice to keep Tamby around, too - a real class act.

I think nonis will be fine becuase he already knows the deal here. Its not some new retard coming in to fuck stuff up.
By the way, those swedes are starting to piss me off. All they do is complain and get all depressed/ injured and wanting to go home. This is a bit of a generalization but to me the canadians play way harder in the playoffs. The swedes just seem to lose it all in the big competition and in addition the canadians will destroy their bodies playing through the pain (Stevie Y for example) where as the swedes become lame duck players.
We need to trade those guys, all but ohlund.
