Owned an 07 SE 4x4 King Cab for 7 yrs now, just over 160,000kms on it, mostly around Squamish and north, plenty off-road, sled hauling, heavy landscaping loads. No mods except air bags and Bilstein leveling shocks (for 5 yrs). All in all, touch wood, no major problems, just wear and tear stuff as well as preventative maintenance, plugs etc.
Except…. for one very expensive failure. The spring clip on the transmission cooler hose popped off while driving and lost ATF fast. The tranny welded itself together in seconds. The rebuild with 2yr warranty cost almost $4000. A bad day. If you get a Titan, change the spring clip on that hose for a worm clip, or 2.
I like the truck, always feels strong, generally reliable, but does guzzle gas. Apparently a diesel version is out next year. Will be $$$$s though.
