HOLY CRAP! HOLY CRAP! HOLY CRAP! HOLY CRAP! HOLY CRAP!

IT'S TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ducks get a draft pick and prospect.

GREAT TRADE!!!

This is one of the only years I can remember where the Canucks actually got significantly better at the trade deadline (assuming they don't screw it up in the next 45 minutes).

So going into the playoffs (assuming players heal like they should) the Vancouver defence consists of Salo, Ohlund, Jovo, Carney, Brown and Allen!

Wow. Assuming the forwards can score we've got a fantastic defence, good goaltending (with today's addition) and a legitimate chance to play into the spring!

we got noronen from buffalo to back up auld
carney, wienrich, and brown on d.

excellent job by nonis because other than mcarthy, he didn't disturb the current setup too much. when ohlund and then salo and jovo get back, weinrich and brown will move down the depth chart. carney was an excellent addition. chalk it up to a good relationship between nonis and burke. noronen is interesting because he is still young (26) but could be a sleeper like kipprusoff was in calgary, because noronen has a very projectable upside and could really develop in vancouver if given the chance. canucks will definitely not resign coutier in the off season.
