Fuck yeah. 16GB model, $393 USD with taxes and shipping to WA state. reviews:

It is really hard to describe how nice it is, particularly when a Galaxy S3 or similar is $700+ unlocked/without carrier subsidy. Search Youtube for Nexus 4 to see a lot of videos of one in use.

Nexus is the way to go. I have the Nexus S… Hardware is outdated, but I don't use it for anything that needs it. As long as google keeps pushing OS updates (which it will) there's no stopping the phone.

Had a android phone tied to Rogers (they pushed the OS updates). They pushed one update and in less than 4 month my phone was outdated since the internet just keeps going. It really is all about the OS.

Mine was only $419 CDN shipped to my door here in Vancouver. Personally not worth the extra $26 to go pick it up across the line if you live up here.

LTE works fine on Rogers.

It's been a great phone so far.

No removable battery or expandable storage? Boo.

Being an agoraphobic adrenaline junkie would be pretty convenient, because you could get your rush from just going to the store to get some milk instead of having to jump off a mountain or out of an airplane.

No more stock updates for the Nexus S, which Google froze at 4.1.2. Still, that's fantastic for a two year old phone when you consider that there are a lot of newer, and more powerful, carrier subsidized phones still running 4.0 because the carriers never push updates.

Wireless charging, hooray!

It's even more awesome when you consider the number of people that are still being suckered into buying phones with Android 2.2 or 2.3 on them… Carriers offer them at an attractive $0 price with three-year contract, the uninformed sign up for them.

I bought a new Nexus 4 on craigslist last month, was tired of waiting for Google to release more.

I've loving it, love having the bigger screen and the Google Now stuff is pretty cool! I'm also finding the battery life very good.

I kinda prefer it not having LTE enabled, more battery life. And since it supports DC-HSPA+42 on Telus, I get close to LTE speeds anyway.

I want the orb charging station though!

for me the orb is kind of a gimmick anyways, it's another thing to buy and have a cable for (my desk has probably 16-18 electrical things on or near it already), and you can't transfer data through it… the regular micro usb cable is good for charging and moving mp3/video onto the device.

Big minus IMO - my phone only has 16GB of storage BUT it has a microSD slot so I can bump that up to 80GB when I get around to it, and microSD card capacities keep getting higher.

I prefer the galaxy s3 for lots of reasons… But the price to purchase makes the nexus 4 easily the best phone to buy if you have to pay real dollars. (if you can get one)

It must also be frustrating for developers that over half of Android phones are running 2.2 or 2.3 and that they need to design to the lowest common denominator if they want their apps to be widely used.

Sound quality seems fine to me. The LTE is easily enabled in the phone settings, click the link I included in my first post. I've been using LTE since the day I got it without any issues.

Just read this so looks like they may be pulling the plug on LTE:

http://mobilesyrup.com/2013/02/14/android-4-2-2-update-reportedly-breaks-lte-compatibility-on-the-nexus-4/

Maybe I just won't update.
