Nice to see they still use old 6.1MP cmos, and their major competitor canon are using 8mp and 8.1mp cmos on the equivalent models to the D50 and D70.

not to mention that with handheld shots by joe sixpack with the kit lens near wide open (which it will have to be since it's slow on both the canon and nikon models) are not going to be pixel sharp at 100% anyway…

i have some of my shots at a3 print size, with perfect detail.

Dont get me wrong, its a great camera. I just think the 350D will wipe its ass with the nikon equivalent just now. Purely because its a higher resolution and the sensor is a much higher quality for dark shots.

Remember the 300D and 350D are canon 20d's in a plastic body and a reduced firmware.
