How are you guys finding the "pocketability" of that rig Craig? I've seen your results on Facebook and it can definitely produce a nice image.
With the zoom lens on it, it is a bit big for putting in your bike short pocket. We don't have the 10mm lens for it yet which would make it a lot smaller. It is a lot smaller than a DSLR, so having it under your jacket for skiing would certainly be possible.
We have a LowePro case for it, but since the camera is rugged and waterproof you don't have to worry about protecting it as much as a regular camera.
We've only done one ride with it so far so haven't figured out a good way to carry it so access is really quick yet.

People on Clubtread were talking about a chest harness for cameras. I have one for the G6 camera case but I find my chest gets really hot if I'm climbing for hours but do use it if I'm on a shorter or cooler ride and taking a lot of pics.
With my G6 what I would do is have the camera case in the top of my pack with the top of the camera case open. To grab the camera I'd only have to open the top zipper of my pack.
