70's bodied F-150 crew built onto a modern Raptor frame and running gear

We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

That’s a beaut. Make it electric and I’d buy.

Edit: just clicked through.  It sold for 196K?!?  Jebus.

haha - yeah it's pretty crazy. But if you consider the costs involved to build something like that and that BaT is often a playground for the rich to buy themselves a fancy new toy it's unfortunately not surprising to see that sort of price. There are quite a few cars that sell at eye watering prices and the only explanation seems to be people with s shitload of money to burn. That kinda goes back to what we were talking about in the Amazon thread and your comment about over consumption. When people have a million dollars to drop on a car or a multi-millions for a fancy yacht/place/house/vacation property but grade schools are going seriously unfunded and kids are doing poorly because they don't have the right resources or don't have enough to eat then you know our priorities as a society are very fucked up.

Just need to mount a roof top tent and a hi jack I'll never use or have anywhere to jack off of.

With that 70's raptor in your driveway, you'll never have to jack off again.

Thanks for bringing up the environment. I can't quite figure if this is all tongue in cheek? Don't you all post in the global warming thread as well?

Yeah, but why go half assed with an e-truck? It doesn't give you nearly the same experience as some giant gas-hog V8. I mean in my opinion a little electric truck is just ridiculous.

You guys want gas trucks?  Weird.  I guess there were horse and buggy die-hards when the model Ts rolled out too.

I'd love to see cool E-conversions of stuff like this.

I need range, and nothing beats the ease of packing a couple extra jerry cans and away you go some more.

but im not like other truck buyers and id wager at least half of them would be fine with an electric ridgeline but thats just soooo lame
