netflix.com FTW
Sure it costs a bit more ($38 a year for a proxy, if you're not into finding/changing free proxies), but the choice is amazing.
Becomes a two click solution to get Hulu, BBC Iplayer and Netflix.
Use it with Millie Soft(free plug in for Media Centre), and it's a game changer (includes LIVE UK TV).
No lag, amazing choice, and so simple a mother in law can use it.
ps. Witopia allows multiple IP access at once, and Netflix allows 6 devices at a time…Get any Ideas??? :)
just noticed that a "NetFlix" icon got added to my TV's menu with "coming soon" underneath. Thank-you Sony boffins for the continuous upgrades to my TV's operating system!

werd.
I'm done the 5 seasons of Top Gear they offer, and last night finished off season 5 of the Trailer Park Boys.
Now, there's nothing to watch other than Halle Berry screaming "Make me feeeel goooood" in Monster's Ball. That's a good scene.

Im a total proxy newb.
Is there a way to have a router automatically hook straight into a proxy?
Also what are some key features to look for when sourcing out a proxy service? I don't mind paying because I would rather not fiddle around and if I get better service out of it why not.
I'm no tech nerd…but if you use a single router to divert via the proxy, ALL your internets will be diverted (so laptop, pc, iPunk etc).
Way easier to just setup a VPN (takes 30 seconds and full instructions are provided), then just that machine will use the proxy. One click connects, and one click disconnects..hardly a big task.
Witopia is probably the cheapest ($30-40 ish..search for coupons also), and also easiest to configure. Works every time, no buffering probs..so easy.
Loads more info on the net..try the netflix thread on redflagdeals

Thanks I'll look into that. I was only asking because I am running netflix off of my apple tv and not sure if I can do a VPN through it. Maybe it I put XBMC on it..
Hey I'm using netflick.ca on a apple tv as well and I'm a complete idiot when it comes to computers.
What's a VPN and how do I set it up so I can watch netflick.com on the apple TV? I don't watch TV on the computer at all (desk top, a flight of stairs away from the TV). Any pointers would be super duper.
