I heard this last week on CBC as part of their Valentines day, pretty different than the original.

Are we not men? We are Devo!
We're pinheads all!

come to think of it that album should be on the list
We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

Groovy song of the day.
Bear's Den stuff
I think these guys are brilliant musically, but the singer's voice is completely meh for me and I find the lyrics kinda teenage. That said I still enjoy the songs because the instrumental portion is just awesome
Reminds me of Wild Beasts

Truth!
Groovy song of the day.
The less polished stuff is much better IMO. Regardless, they're at the Rickshaw on Friday and I think I'll have an extra ticket if anyone is interested. Hoping for more 2008…

Yeah I saw them last time they played here (also the Rickshaw I think it was), and was wishing for more old stuff. But I like the new album quite a bit too. First time I saw them was at Folk Fest a few years back and that remains the best experience - as usual. Folk Fest's where its at.
Every time I listen to his stuff now I find myself compelled to do his weird shoulder-dance haha

They played a lackluster midweek Commodore show in between their last visit to the Rickshaw. I think Friday will be a better. If you don't bring some grit to the Rickshaw you're likely to catch a beercan to the forehead.
