I had an 08 Tundra up until last fall. I picked a F-150 w/ the EcoBoost motor. Better mileage, better torque range and whisper quiet.
The new GC's are nice but I wouldn't go back to a V8 after the twin turbo V6.

Gas mileage is no better than your tundra, but hey it's a dodge…
The GC gets better milage than the Tundra got, for a full sized truck its 16 to 19 mpg was pretty good. I will say this, I don't expect this Jeep will be as trouble free as the Toyota it replaced. The only thing I did to the Tundra was oil,and filter changes, it was reliable as an anvil.
For the Imperially challenged (KenN) it is currently showing 11.9 L per 100 KM or 23.74 MPG on the DTC. I use an app called Road Trip that accurately tracks my fuel and mileage expenses and it aligns with the DTCs fuel log.
