Mid-size truck (Tacoma, etc.) - short bed or long bed?
I drank the Taco kool-aid. Here's my limo. Not a lot of options if wanting a double cab with a six foot box unless going full size... If you want to sleep in the back and are over 5ft tall the longer bed is nice. It's also great for the moto and all the junk I take car camping, like extra gas, recovery gear and chainsaws. Aftermarket support is probably better than any other truck out there, but unless you get a stellar deal the Nissan is definitely more bang for the buck.
There is something to be said about the Toyota aftermarket

Weird how they roll. When I spent a good amount of time in the UK a few years back the Ford focus off the lot looked like a rally car. Here, not so much.

Wish we were a big enough market for stuff like that. We just get lumped in with whatever Americans want/allow. There's been exceptions like the X-Trail which sold really well here so maybe we'll get something cool to replace the Titan.

The first generation pathfinder discontinued in 1996 was such a great truck. Since then it has become a soccer mom minivan.

I really dont understand why we cant have nice things. This is the best looking vehicle in the Nissan lineup. Their SUVS are a joke in North America. They ruined the pathfinder years ago.

I really wanted a truck and not to have to strap everything to the roof or trailer.
That Patrol is very close in both features, lux and looks to what I’d be after. Really wondering about it’s 4.8L petrol and if it’s an inline6 under the hood? 🤤🤤 Same with the current Gen Land Cruiser although it looks like the US version is getting butchered now. Those Patrols gotta be ~100k vehicles and I wonder if people would stomach that price for a Japanese SUV here in NA? Although a Yukon Denali is the same price and it’s literally a Yukon with a chrome grill and rims. And whatever Jeep calleds their Chief Grand Cherokee Spirit Hawk Limited Sport SRT Hemi
